Use Facebook ads to reach beyond those you already know. Invite those who respond to enter into conversation with you. Or invite them to a Zoom discussion you will arrange. One option is to use Challenge Yourself to Grow Spiritually digitally available here for free.
The Outreach: Facebook ads can be customized to fit your targeted audience. Typically, you would want to reach young adults in your general geographic area. Purchasing 1,000 email addresses to your specifications would cost about $50. You may get 5-10 responses to your invitation, for a response rate of 1%, which is good. That’s ten more names than you had before you started.
The Vehicle: Your ad would invite those interested to reply with this link: https://whathappened.church/purpose/ This takes them to a landing page where you explain who you are and what you are trying to accomplish with your invitation. They fill out the form with their name, email address, and any message, and then submit it to you at your email address. You follow up with that person however you see fit.
A Zoom Discussion: You may choose to form a small group or missional community to share experiences using a specific discussion guide. Available digitally free for downloading is the Workbook to Challenge Yourself to Grow Spiritually (link).
