How to Develop a Virtual Church Fellowship Group Within Your Congregation
These congregation-specific groups are meant to be a place where we can share how the Spirit has energized us in our personal journey and our congregation’s fellowship. They are also meant to challenge the conventional wisdom of mainline churches, while hopefully remaining biblically based. Our discussions may be helpful to ministry colleagues who are wrestling with the fundamental issue of how much our church cultures need to change to grow in the 21st century.
Technically a congregation is a fellowship of the Holy Spirit, also called the body of Christ. Virtual Church Fellowship Groups are all about sharing something with God the Father and the Son, with those within this partnership of the Gospel, and with others beyond the fellowship as “we proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us.”
Perhaps these Virtual Church Fellowship Groups will stimulate the old-fashioned fellowship of talking face-to-face!
